LLC is an excellent choice for small and medium‑sized enterprises. A joint‑stock company is suitable for large projects and for attracting investors.

The correct choice of legal form affects taxation, founders’ liability, governance arrangements and the business’s scalability.

An LLC (Limited Şirket) allows you to start with a minimum capital from 100,000 TL, which can be paid in over a two‑year period.

A joint‑stock company (Anonim Şirket — A.Ş.) requires starting capital from 250,000 TL, 25% of which must be paid immediately. The joint‑stock company is particularly appropriate for those who plan to seek investors and operate with shares.
